    • The House of the Rising Sun by The Animals

    • Wonderwall by Oasis

    • Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond (a crowd favourite that truly brought the house down!)

Pupils were invited to dress as an adjective of their choice, and the creativity on display was truly impressive. It was a wonderful celebration of the rich vocabulary that brings our favourite stories to life.

We would also like to thank you for sending in photos of the children’s reading experiences at home, as part of the homework task. It has been wonderful to see how reading continues beyond the classroom and plays such an important part in home life. Your support in nurturing a love of reading is greatly appreciated.
