Languages Day 5th June 2025

Bravo! Gut gemacht! Buen esfuerzo! Dobry wysilk! Ymdrech Dda!

To all our Language Superstars!

On Thursday 5th June Paulton Junior School celebrated the importance of communication, language learning and cultural diversity by holding ‘Paulton Day of Languages’. Pupils across the whole school had great fun participating in a range of exciting and interactive activities in order to further promote their interest in languages and the cultures and traditions of other countries. These activities included learning how to make (and eat!) ‘Crêpes françaises’, salsa dancing, British Sign Language, Japanese, Aboriginal art, globe-trotting, pétanque and much more!

Madame Truelove was extremely proud of the engagement and of all the pupils who enthusiastically embodied the focus of the day – Diversity is the one true thing we all have in common... Celebrate it every day’. Winston Churchill.
