    It is that time of year again when BBC Radio 2 have released their 500 word story competition. If you would like to take part follow the link below. Remember your story can be no more than 500 words and has to be completely unique. Good Luck!  


    Take part in Read For My School by going to and register. You will need to create a user name and password and then enter the classroom code given to you by your teacher. How many books can you read?  

  • County Football Finals

    Congratulations to the Girls Football Team who represented PJS so magnificently at the Somerset County Finals at Bridgewater College on Friday. They finished a respectable joint third overall after winning two of their five matches. Well done girls – you were amazing!

    Our Football Team came a close second in the recent MSN Tournament at Writhlington. They fought valiantly to get to the final but were beaten in extra time by Midsomer Norton Primary. A huge well done to both the A and B teams who represented our school with great pride.
