Congratulations to Georgie, who was chosen as Star Learner for her descriptive writing inspired by the short film 'The Piano'. She incorporated a range of writing techniques to create a very powerful piece of work. Here is an extract; 'Soothingly, the elderly man saw a ghostly hand join in with the calm tune.' Well done, Georgie.
